Iowa Business Report
Now in its fith year, the "Iowa Business Report” is a weekly half-hour radio program featuring interviews about business, government, the economy, jobs, trade, and investments. Each program also includes a “Business Profile” segment, telling the story of one Iowa-based company and its impact. The "Iowa Business Report" also airs as a weekday two-minute feature. The "Iowa Business Report" is presented with support from the Iowa Business Council (iowabusinesscouncil.org). Results of the second annual Iowa Talent Poll were released this past Wednesday, to help show what working age Iowans find attractive about living here, in an effort to attract new people to add to our labor pool. Dustin Miller, executive director of the Iowa Chamber Alliance, shares information from this year's survey.
Supply chain issues have affected every industry, including Iowa agriculture. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture & Land Stewardship Mike Naig discusses some of the current challenges.
And in this week's "Business Profile", we'll introduce you to Aryn Henning Nichols and Benji Nichols, owners of the Decorah-based media company Inspire(d), which produces hyper-local positive news in print and online.
